Almost 150 people a year are killed by home explosions and Carbon Monoxide poisoning from gas central heating boilers, while the environmental consequences of oil pollution from oil tanks leaves homeowners liable to a £20,000 fine should their system leak.

Traditional oil and gas boilers are unable to do this due to the fear of legionella contamination, however the Ice Energy heat pump overcomes this by pasturising the water cylinder at least once a week.
