Heat Pumps reduce CO2 Emissions - DEFRA
The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has researched the creation of CO2 from various heating methods, including Solid Fuel, Oil and Gas against the new technologies of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP).Their figures show ground source heat pumps clear winners in reducing the amount of CO2 into the environment.
