Renewable Energy Company Wins Fast Track 100 Green Credentials Award
Oxfordshire based company, Ice Energy Heat Pumps Ltd triumphed at the Fast Track 100 Awards Dinner last week by taking away the Green Credentials Award.
The Fast Track 100 Green Credentials Award, sponsored by Virgin Atlantic, was presented by communications director Paul Charles to Andrew Hillier and Andrew Sheldon, founders of Ice Energy Heat Pumps. Ice Energy was ranked 17th in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 annual league table published last December which ranks Britain’s top 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over a three year period.
Andrew Hillier, CEO of Ice Energy said,
“We are delighted to win the Green Credentials Award. It represents our continuing dedication to renewable energy and our growth is helping us make the public increasingly aware of their carbon footprint and the solutions available to them.
The event not only showcases the best of British entrepreneurship but also demonstrates how entrepreneurs must take responsibility for the environment and society.”
The event was held at Sir Richard Branson’s Oxfordshire Home, opened by Conservative leader David Cameron who congratulated the owners and directors of the UKs Fast Track 100 companies. He was followed by speakers from Innocent, Solarcentury, and Virgin.
