A new unique grant of up to £1200 has just been announced by Ice Energy and EDF Energy.
Ground Source Heat Pump in Hellifield Peel, Winner of the C4 Grand Designs Award
Hellifield Peel was an ancient scheduled monument in ruins when Francis & Karen Shaw decided to rebuild it. The renovation was covered by Grand Designs and was the only project to be given an hour and half long program, which also covered the installation of their two Ground Source Heat PumpsIt was one of the most popular too, with the biggest ever audience at that time.

The consultation period for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), which will give significant annual payments to householders who have installed renewable technologies such as Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps ended recently..
Further announcements from the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) on the results of the consultation will take place in the summer and will be followed by a final shorter consultation. The final announcement of all the Scheme’s details should be made around September.
