5 Year Parts & Labour Warranty Certified by Guarantee

When you choose a heat pump supplied by Ice Energy and IVT you will reduce your heating costs thanks to a machine produced, developed and tested by Europe's largest heating pump manufacturer.

Ice Energy and IVT stand by their products and together with insurance company Moderna Försäkringar we have developed a five year warranty which is valid in conjunction with the original guarantee from the factory.

Terms & Conditions

1. Persons covered by the Guarantee
The Guarantee applies to the original purchaser and any subsequent owner of the item

2. Validity period of the Guarantee
The guarantee period is five years calculated from the installation date stated on the guarantee certificate.

3. Insurance Protection
For years 2-5, this guarantee commitment is reinsured by Moderna Försäkringar.

4. Property covered by the Guarantee
The guarantee applies to IVT heat pumps.

5. Scope
The Guarantee covers the item specified in the guarantee certificate and applies to faults originating inside the item

6. General exceptions

Compensation is not provided for:
- damage caused by normal wear and tear, inadequate maintenance or care
- cost of inspecting, adjusting or cleaning the item, unless this relates to damage that is eligible for compensation
-Minor damage (e.g. scratches and marks) that does not affect the utility of the item
-damage covered by insurance
-indirect damage
-loss or damage caused by gross negligence or intent, misappropriation, fraud or similar crime against property, breach of trust or fraudulent conversion.

7. Care of Duty
The item must be handled with normal care and attention to minimise the risk of damage or loss. If the duty of care has not been fulfilled, compensation is generally reduced accordingly. In the event of serious negligence, compensation is substantially reduced and may even be cancelled entirely (reduced to zero)

8. Grounds of Compensation
Damage is compensated for repair work to be carried out by the retailer. Repair work may not exceed the purchase price of the item, cash compensation is not available

9. Excess
No excess is payable on the Guarantee.

10. In the event of Damage

The IVT retailer must be notified of any damage immediately and no later than six months after you first became aware of the damage. The guarantee certificate received on installation should be appended to the claim. If a claim for compensation is made after the deadline specified above or if a guarantee can not be produced, the guarantee shall not apply. The retailer will investigate the claim. Should the retailer not deem the claim suitable for compensation, the customer shall contact IVT industrier AB, Tranas, Sweden

See 11.2 regarding limitation.

The original guarantee certificate must be enclosed with the claim.

The guarantee shall be invalidated if the owner fraudulently provides, withholds, or conceals any information of significance to the evaluation of the claim.

11 General Terms and Conditions

11.1 Force majeure
There shall be no liability for the loss arising as a result of the guarantee investigation, payment or damage repair being delayed due to war, an act of war, civil war, revolution, terrorism or insurrection, or due to government action, strike, lockout blockade or any similar event.

11.2 Limitations
Claims made under the Guarantee must be made to IVT's representative within six months of the date when the owner became aware of the claim, and failure to do so will result in a loss of all rights according to these conditions
